Restoration mortars are made in-house under controlled conditions to ensure they are perfectly matched to the façade being restored. Modern day techniques consist only of natural materials, so where stone restoration medium is required, then the base material would be crushed limestone or sandstone, mixed with the appropriate properties of hydraulic lime as the binding agent.

These techniques work hand in hand with the installation of replacement stones, carefully matched and hand-produced to invisibly replace the worn, eroded or damaged originals.
